Shri M K Srivastava, ED(Engineering), NTPC addressing this Emerson's Environmental Sustainability Summit emphasized on the significant and leadership role NTPC is playing in ensuring environmental sustainability by adopting state of the art technology in power generation. 

He added NTPC has plans to increase the percentage of non-fossil fuel in the generation mix to around 30% by 2032, by use of biomass for firing, venturing into H2 energy, clean coal technologies and CCUS.
